Liberia BUVs - Update
Cargo beds were recently completed for the four BUV's shipped to Liberia in December 2008. The beds were built by a local Liberian firm according to the specifications and design drawings provided by Sahel Automotive.
We are excited about the on-going progress of this intitiative, and are looking forward to the launch of BUV transport services in Monrovia!

Four BUV's were built by Sahel Automotive and shipped to Monrovia, Liberia. The units were shipped without cargo beds. The beds will be manufactured by a local Liberian company.
These vehicles will be used to demonstrate the income producing potential of the BUV and the economic transformational potential of affordable transportation.
Partners Worldwide, in partnership with LEAD (Liberian Entrepreneurial and Asset Development), will assist Liberian entrepreneurs with start-up and development of the transport services using the BUV.
